CARACTERÍSTICAS
Es un árbol que mide entre 4 y 12 metros de altura. De tronco recto y ramas frondosas. Todo el arbusto es aromático.
USOS
Las hojas son estimulantes. Se destilan en ron y de allí su nombre Bay-Rum. Las semillas y las hojas poseen un aceite esencial muy valorado en perfumería
USOS MEDICINALES
En las islas del Caribe es muy utilizado el Bay-Rum en fricciones contra el cansancio, los dolores, los golpes, hematomas y para refrescar el cuerpo.

It is a tree that measures between 4 and 12 meters high. Straight trunk and leafy branches. The entire bush is aromatic.
USAGE
The leaves are stimulating. They are distilled into rum and hence its name Bay-Rum. The seeds and leaves have an essential oil highly valued in perfumery.
MEDICINAL USAGE
In the Caribbean islands, Bay-Rum is widely used in friction against fatigue, pain, bumps, bruises and to refresh the body.
